"Recruitment - Mastering the Process" Training

On Thursday March 9th, 2023, twenty-two (22) professionals came together to participate in our training on "Recruitment - Mastering the process". This brilliant and very engaging group consisted of General Managers, Operational Managers, HR Managers and Business Owners.
It was a day of stimulating discussions as we explored the entire recruitment process. We discussed the future of recruitment, employer branding, job design, developing vacancy ads., managing applications, types of assessments, preparing interview guides and score sheets, onboarding and more.


We were truly inspired by each participant as they willingly shared their valuable experiences enrichening our learning experience. We now look forward to motivating and supporting our colleagues as they endeavour to make a difference within their respective organisations.

"Leadership In-Person Workshop"

On October 16th to 18th, 2023, we had the opportunity once again, to collaborate with MBA Consultancy Inc., and for the first time, ODYSSEY CONSULTinc Ltd. of Trinidad and Tobago. In an effort to contribute to improving the quality of leaders in Grenada, we hosted a 3-day In-person Leadership Workshop facilitated by Mr. L. Anthony Watkins, CEO of ODYSSEY CONSULTinc. Mr. Watkins shared his expertise and delivered 4 exceptional sessions, touching on pertinent topics such as Managing for Improved Performance, Planning and Decision Making, and Leadership and Management. We love describing Mr. Watkins as “one in a million.”

Organisations grabbed hold of this opportunity, registering a number of their managers and supervisors; Ariza Credit Union, Republic Bank Grenada, Grenada Co-operative Bank, Grenada Development Bank, Grenada Bureau of Standards, Citizen by Investment Grenada, McIntyre Bros., just to name a few. The participants’ eagerness to learn and share experiences was palpable. The buzzing of voices during discussion sessions was evidence of their drive to become effective, influential leaders within their respective organisations.

With almost 100% turn out of all registrants, we at J’S felt that our efforts were worthwhile.

Special thanks is also extended to Dawn Mark (Personal and Executive Business Coach) who supported us Administratively.

This was our biggest event to date, and with participants satisfied and wanting more, there is definitely more to come. We move forward, excited to contribute to the professional development of our business community.

"Leadership - When the work environment depends on it"

On March 23rd 2023, we had the opportunity to collaborate with MBA Consultancy Inc. on a virtual leadership training. We discussed - "Leading - when the work environment depends on it." Sixteen professionals graced us with their presence for two and a half hours, as we considered the valuable information shared with us by Mr. Michael Archibald of MBA Consultancy Inc.

We were inspired to be more than highly paid managers who occupy a leadership position. We were inspired to consistently display the behaviours that truly depict a leader. We received significant food for thought in a relatively short period.
